The total inward investment in these facilities will be £240 million. The construction phase of this project will give a significant boost to the local construction industry.  Wherever possible the suppliers and sub-contractors under consideration for contract awards will be drawn from the locality of the Hightown Quarry site in the first instance and Northern Ireland in general in accordance with the Project’s commitment to equality and sustainable development. There will also be opportunities for young people from the local area to take part in apprentice training schemes.
